He is Risen
On that quiet Easter morning, the world still mourned the death of the Savior, not yet knowing the stone had already been rolled away. Mary Magdalene arrived at the tomb, afraid when she found it empty, until angels appeared and testified that Jesus had risen. She ran to tell the apostles, who came and witnessed the same heavenly message. After they left, Christ appeared to Mary. She didn’t recognize Him at first, thinking He was the gardener, until He spoke her name. In that moment, she knew her Redeemer lived. Later, Jesus appeared to His apostles, showing them His hands and feet, eating with them, teaching them, and bringing peace before ascending to His Father. He would even appear to the Nephites in the Americas as another witness that He lives. Easter is more than a story, it is the moment hope returned to the world. Because He lives, we can live again. Because He rose, we can rise too. As you watch this video, imagine being in that room with the apostles as the Savior appeared. How would you have felt? What would you have done or said?
